„I have never been to a club with so much highquality Dancemusic before“
Marc King – Level 42
Meeting customers, developing ideas together and creating diverse content that inspires – that’s what motivates me again and again, and that’s what I’m on the road for every day.
Uwe Malischewski was, among other things, resident DJ at the legendary discotheque Glory’s in Eschweiler near Aachen from 1981 to 1983. With his extraordinary feeling for music trends, he not only succeeded in gaining a loyal fan base throughout Germany, he also predicted the success of the British formation Level 42 at an early stage and booked the band for their first ever concert in Germany. Quote from Mark King, bassit of Level 42, “I have never been to a club with so much highquality Dancemusic before”. This developed into a friendship with King and keyboardist Mike Lindup that has lasted for more than 40 years. With over 15 years as a disc jockey, across Germany, he met Tony Prince in 1987, the former program director at British Radio Luxembourg, who made him CEO of DMC Germany, a worldwide network DJ pool based in the UK. As one of the best known promoters in the German music scene at that time, he started from 1989 with good contacts to major labels like CBS, later Sony, EMI or East West Records to name a few, as a producer and publisher to release more than 40 tracks until 1994.
After touring various European countries as a DJ and saxophonist, he started setting up his own recording studio in the Netherlands in 2001 and set his sights on producing an internationally competitive sound.
In 2015, he founded the video production company vividsonics. With his unerring sense for good camera work and appealing post-production, he quickly managed to build up a convinced clientele for himself in this area as well.
Besides his work in the studio, he is still active as a DJ and saxophonist at his popular Classic Dance Night parties all over Europe.
